Battery

1. Charging: Plug smart charger into the cable coming out of the battery pack. Then, plug other connector into an A/C outlet. Allow 2-6 hours to complete charge cycle. When the battery pack is fully charged, the indicator light on the charge will turn green, some models flash green while charging and stay solid green when charging is complete. Always recharge immediately after each use even if your ride is only for a short time! Failure to do this will damage the batteries!

2. Removal of battery pack from bicycle: Unplug power cable going to controller. Undo two side Velcro straps and front top Velcro strap. Lift battery pack off of the transporter rack. For models with plastic battery case, lift up on the seat lever to move the seat, unlock the battery then just pull up to remove.

3. To install the pack, reverse the removal instructions.

Operating

1. Be sure the battery cables are plugged into the controller cables and the charger is removed.

2. Turn key to on position. The throttle light will turn on when power is present.
Twist the throttle or push down thumb throttle to accelerate.

3. ALWAYS SQUEEZE THE BRAKE HANDLE WHEN STOPPING OR STOPPED. This will disengage the throttle on all Vroom bicycles and scooters, on custom bicycles this may be different. DO NOT TWIST OR PUSH THROTTLE WHEN YOU ARE OFF THE BICYCLE.

4. To maximize battery range: pedal along with the motor, especially when accelerating from a dead stop. This is when most of the battery power is consumed.

5. Always remember to turn the switch to "off" after use. Failure to do so will drain
the battery and damage it! Be sure to recharge the battery after every use by plugging the cord into an electrical outlet.
